Texas Hill Country Wild Flowers

March 25th, 2010 by Blair House Inn

Texas Blue Bonnet

We have our first sign of Texas Hill Country Wild Flowers.  A single Blue Bonnet has peaked its head, showing that it will be a bright Spring.  The Hill Country is known for its beautiful wild flowers and we are sure to share in the beauty.  We are located on 23 acres and will have fields of flowers thru Spring and into the Summer.  Reservations are limited, so Book Now to reserve your space and enjoy nature’s gift!

Satisfied Texas Hill Country Guest!

March 11th, 2010 by Blair House Inn

We received the following comment on the Select Registry Website.

“This is the best B&B we have stayed at.  There was plenty to do, but no pressure to do anything.  The town of Wimberley is full of shops and restaurants, but the B&B had all the accommodations, and we didn’t need to go anywhere.  The walking trail was beautiful.  We made a trip to the Bella Vista Ranch, and experienced fresh olive oil for their olive grove.

It’s difficult to fully express our experience at the Blair House.  The wine tasting Saturday night provided by Torre di Pietra Vineyards, Fredricksburg, TX topped off a fantastic 5 course dinner, including mesquite smoked pork tenderloin.

My compliments to the Chef for the superb dinner & breakfast.

Mike & Vickie mad us feel very welcome.  They were quick to meet our every need.

It was all perfect!”

Linda ~ Lake Jackson, TX

We would like to thank Linda for her kind comments about our Inn.  We strive to make every guest feel at home!  Join us this Summer and we will indulge your every need!  Click here for reservations and availability.

Wimberley Guest Celebrate 5 Year Travel Anniversary!

August 26th, 2009 by Blair House Inn

The Blair House Inn would like to take a moment and celebrate a five year anniversary of one of our repeat guest.  Rick and Rebecca Weiler have been coming to The Blair House Inn for five years.  Rick has sent a wonderful note that we would like to share with our entire guest.

“Someone ask us how many times we have been down to Blair House, so I had to do some research.  Interesting what I found out.  Our first trip to Blair House was five years ago for my birthday at the end of August.  We are coming back this weekend to celebrate my birthday again.  As it turns out, our five year anniversary of knowing you and visiting The Blair House.  This will be our 17th visit.  Every one of them has been better than the last and we will never tire of relaxing, meeting new friends, and enjoying the incredible Blair House cuisine on Saturday Nights.  As you know we consider ourselves part of your family now!!”

We would like to wish Rick a Happy Birthday and many more wonderful years with the Blair House Inn!
