We are also located about 3 miles from the Wimberley Hike and Bike Trail which is perfect for late evening walks and early morning hikes. The trail is 6 miles in length and runs through the center of Wimberley, perfect for stopping off in town or talking a dip in the Blue Hole on Cypress Creek.

Take a drive over to Blanco with a picnic lunch and enjoy the river as it quietly flows past. As October and November roll around you may want to venture out to Lost Maples State Park just south of Austin. Most people relate fall foliage and the “changing of the leaves” to the eastern portion of the United States. However, portions of Texas actually see dramatic changes in foliage coloration as fall draws near.
