Once the largest outdoor rodeo in the world, the event still ranks near the top. This is a Cowboys Professional Rodeo Assn. Celebrate like the locals; all proceeds benefit the community, veterans, and active duty service men and women.

Wimberley Market Days is the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. You can wander through booths browsing through the variety of antiques, jewelry and handmade crafts all while enjoy the music and food. Admission is free and gates open bright and early at 7am. This market is the 2nd largest inTexas, so don’t miss out on some great local shopping.

Top your week off with a genuine Texas hill country celebration of Independence Day. Enjoy the 4th of July Parade and Jubilee under the shade of the big live oak trees in downtown Wimberley. This event is full of family fun, music, food, and vendors. A Special fireworks display will be held at the Veteran’s Park beginning at dark. Free admission & parking.  For the early comers, entertainment will be provided by popular Wimberley music group “Broken Glass”. Their specialty is music from ’60s, ’70s and ’80s plus country western.  Wide variety of food and soft drinks will also be available.
