This weeks featured artist in the Blair House Gallery is Norma Brown, who’s work has received many awards in juried and invitational shows both locally and nationally. Her completely original work appears in the United States, Europe, and South America. Brown’s work is American Impressionistic and features compositions in still life, landscape, and figures. She specializes in Impressionistic oils of England’s gardens and landscape, traveling often to England to paint on location. Brown was interested in art from an early age and has received both public and private instruction which prepared her for many years of teaching individuals, groups, classes, and workshops. Brown continues her own formal and independent studies and combines both experimentation and rigorous research to improve and develop her technique. Take a moment to stop in at the Main House at the Blair House Inn to rest while viewing her latest work on display.
