It’s that time of year again!  The 31st Annual Wimberley Gospel Festival October 8th and 9th.  Come to the Texas Hill Country and enjoy heavenly music preformed live.  You can enjoy Southern Gospel, Country, and Bluegrass music all weekend.  The festival is always a wonderful success with good company and great music.  Follow this link to see a list of bands.  Call us to make reservations for a wonderful Hill Country weekend.

3          cups     flour
1           tsp        salt
1 ½     tsp        baking soda
1           tsp        cinnamon
½         tsp        nutmeg

1          cup       pecans or walnuts, chopped
3          cups     apples, peeled and sliced, preferably Granny Smith

Mix together the eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla.

Mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients.

Fold in the nuts and apples.

Bake 1 hour 15 minutes in a Bundt pan at 350 degrees.
